Running OS X 10.11.4 on 2012 Mac Mini Server (6,2). Apple mail will not send mail - SMTP Server shows as Offline. I have repeatedly checked all setup parameters. Same setup works on iPad & iPhone. I have researched on web and tried all recommended solutions short of manipulating files in V2 and V3 folders, which I am not comfortable with. Deleted & rebuilt accounts, deleted and rebuilt keychain entries, confirmed setup with ISP. SMTP does work on my Verizon account but not with Google or iPower.com accounts. All worked fine under Mavericks. The SMTP server is used to send mail. (Note: There are two locations you must paste you app-specific password, these instructions are for the 'sending' server, not the 'receiving' server') Go to Google and generate an app-specific password on this page. Now open Mail and go to Preferences > Accounts and select your Google account. I have repeatedly checked all setup parameters. I have a 2010 Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard (10.6.8) installed and couldn't get the right Boot Camp upgrade using any of the Apple download software from within the bootcamp Application. After installing this Update/Upgrade suddenly all of the required drivers appeared in the Windows 'Device manager' and everything started working perfectly. Its just that none of the bootcamp drivers are working at all. It wont let me use ANY Fkey functions at all. The Isight is not working or the eject button. Or, what I might had done was removed the password from the SMTP entry, then I was prompted for the password when trying to send. Sorry can't get more specific or recall exactly how I fixed it.
